Essie's 2010 Spring collection revolved around the idea of art, which is a clever idea. The color's, while some are pretty, are predictable and a little boring, with all the light purples and pinks, and the one dark red, the only color that really pops is the coral color, or Tart Deco. This was the one color I got, because I've been looking for a peach color and this seemed perfect. I wasn't pleased with it though, it was a bit too orange for me, and it was way too runny, in general a mess to apply. Still, I haven't tried any of the other colors in the collection, so I'm not going to speak badly of the whole collection.
The collection (from left to right))
Lilacism- A lighter purple, lilac colored, obiously.
Neo Whimsical- A perfect mix of purple and pink, the color I would be most likely to purchase.
Van D'go- A youthful, cotton candy pink
Tart Deco- a salmon-ey peach color
Red Noueau- A red that would be classic, but it's just one shade too light. A "Watered down" red.
All in all I think Essie could have thought up some more unique colors, but none of them were horrible/ wonderful. I give this collection 6/10.
